Prime purposes of the Staff Selection Commission is to organized examination and recruit the candidates for the different posts in a various departments of the government of India .These examinations examine the candidates’ abilities and capabilities to work in the public sector jobs.

The eligibility criteria for SSC examination is:-

1) Applicant must have citizenship of India.
2) Applicant must have a graduation degree from recognized institute or university.
3) Age limit for SSC examination is 18 years to 27 years.

Exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission are following:-

1. SSC-CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level)
2. SSC-CGL (Combined Graduate Level)
3. SSC-CPO (Central Police Officer)

SSC is a highly competitive examination, the syllabus of SSC is organized in three different tiers. In order to get the government job, a candidate should have to clear all the tiers with a good score.

The Examination will be conducted in three tiers as mentioned below:

Tier-I includes Reasoning(50 Marks), Quantitative Aptitude(50 Marks), general knowledge(50 Marks), and English(50 Marks). This is objective question exam, where you will get multiple options and you have to select right answer from them. Tier - I exam will be consist 200 questions with 2 hours time duration.

Tier-II includes Quantitative Mental Abilities (100 Marks), General English (200 Marks), Statistics aptitude (200 Marks) .This is also a multiple choice questions paper.

Tier-III includes personality and interview test. This is conducted to check the candidate’s skills, confidence level, and attentiveness.

How to Prepare for SSC examinations:-

Candidates who are appearing for the SSC examination, they must prepare their agenda of preparation. They have ready their proper schedule of time management, list of books which thoroughly covers all the topics and Paper pattern. After preparing your agenda candidate should make the schedule for all TIER, and prepare a target for each TIER.
